TIME TRAVEL LOG – YEAR 2018

In 2018, the High Council located its current incarnations through the TPS (Temporal Positioning System) — a chrono-location device used to find previous incarnations, the most compatible vessels across time. The chosen vessels were experienced Brazilian musicians, whose bodies, voices and instruments were suited to carry the Council’s mission into the 21st century. Once the consciousnesses of the High Council possessed their vessels, the songs began to emerge: ritual warnings, ancestral memories and calls for humanity to reconnect with Mother-Earth through the restoration of the Old Pagan Ways, Occult Mysteries and forgotten rites. The sound that emerged was named Post-Apocalyptic Pagan Metal: a fusion of traditional and modern heavy music, drawing from Classic Metal, Industrial, Power Metal, Doom, Metalcore, Black Metal and other extreme and atmospheric forms. Its keyboards merge industrial textures with symphonic orchestrations, ethnic instruments and epic choirs; its guitars carry modern weight; its rhythms invoke tribal force; and its structures remain direct enough to reach the masses. Theatricality became another essential manifestation of the band. Through music videos, stage production, costumes, symbols and live rituals, The Heathen Scÿthe guides the audience back to the post-apocalyptic origin of the High Council’s mission.

ALEPH’S DIARY - YEAR 2616:

Everybody is gone. They left us behind because we saw the Exodus for what it was: not salvation, but a trap. On this dying Earth, survival no longer belongs to the strongest. It belongs to those who can read the cycles of nature as sacred law — where food may still grow, where potable water may still be found, where the air can still be breathed. To study these cycles, the Seven surviving Clans sent their greatest sages to form a new sect of scholars: The Heathen Scÿthe. I am Aleph, an acolyte of the Scÿthe, former member of the Dreex. I am a scientist, trained to repair, rebuild and improvise almost anything from the ruins — but knowledge alone is not enough. Resources are scarce. Time is scarcer. Before the Sanctuary falls silent, I must introduce the members of the High Council: the representatives of each Clan, and the last hope of those who remained on Earth.

BIRTH: MAR 29, 2492 CLAN: VISARI POSITION: Spiritual Leader, Herald and Scÿthe Bearer

Da’at is a shaman. While the world looked to the stars, his clan remained devoted to the Earth — worshiping, observing and studying her dying cycles. After the war, the Visari were among the few who still remembered how to read those cycles: where food could still grow, where water might still be found, where the air could still be breathed. Much of the old knowledge was already lost, for none who remembered it were still alive. Still, Da’at gathered the survivors of the Seven Clans and taught us that survival was not only a matter of force, but of listening. It was Da’at’s dream vision that led us to the hidden library beneath the ruins of the Forbidden City. There, among the lost books of the Ancient World, we found the one that changed everything: The Magus. Following its instructions, the High Council evoked a Celestial Intelligencer, who revealed the precise location of the most powerful relic of the Ancient World — a device capable of casting consciousness through time by possessing compatible past incarnations. To activate the device, Da’at offered his own heart in an ultimate act of self-sacrifice. But his story did not end there. An angelic power of infinite wisdom took hold of his body. The light was so intense that it burned the sight from his eyes, and the Architecture of the Universe was unveiled before him. Since that day, Da’at has become more than our spiritual leader. He is the Herald of the Scÿthe, the bearer of the blade, and the mind behind the time-travel missions. We truly believe he will learn how to save our dying planet.

21st CENTURY VESSEL: TATO DELUCA BIRTH: MAR 21, 1981 BIRTHPLACE: São Paulo, Brazil FUNCTION: Vocals

Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer since 1992, Tato Deluca showed the first signs of his creative path at age 11, when he clashed with his piano teacher because he wanted to play his own music instead of simply following the lessons. His journey with bands began in 1994. Since then, Tato has consistently acted as the creator and leader of his own projects, including Aclla, founded in 2007. With Aclla, he had the opportunity to work with renowned musicians such as classical guitarist Chrystian Dozza and drummer Eloy Casagrande (Slipknot, ex-Sepultura). In 2015, shortly after recording Aclla’s second album, Pindorama, Tato became one of the creators of Levante do Metal Nativo — a movement that brought together 14 Brazilian bands whose work explored the history, culture and ancestral memory of Brazil. As Da’at’s 21st-century vessel, Tato was not chosen only for his voice. He was chosen for his ability to compose, lead, gather people around a vision, and transform spiritual memory into music capable of reaching the masses.

BIRTH: APR 11, 2526 CLAN: ASHARI POSITION: Technomancer, Xenophilosopher and Sage

Hokhmah was born only a few years before the beginning of the Seventy Years’ War. As an Ashari, he was taught from childhood to see through alien eyes — to study the philosophy, science, religion and logic of those who came from the stars. For this reason, Hokhmah understood the War and the miraculous Salvation that led to the Exodus as part of the same trap. Among the High Council, no one understands alien technology with greater clarity. Hokhmah can operate their systems, interpret their architecture and read the hidden logic behind what still moves inside the Dead Zone. Because of this, he was chosen to lead selected members of the High Council and a small group of Acolytes on the mission that revealed the location of the time-travel device. It was Hokhmah who understood how to approach the relic, and how Da’at’s heart could be used to activate it. Since then, Hokhmah has become the keeper of the Time Travel Logs. He records the journeys, preserves the knowledge recovered through past incarnations, and teaches those lessons to the whole Scÿthe. He once learned to understand the ones who came from the stars. Now he must understand the whole of human history.

21st CENTURY VESSEL: FLAVIO SALLIN BIRTH: APR 17, 1988 BIRTHPLACE: São Paulo, Brazil FUNCTION: Keyboards and Backing Vocals

Keyboardist, vocalist, arranger and composer, Flavio Sallin began his musical studies in 2003. In 2006, he received a gold medal from the Dièse Conservatory and later earned a degree in Music Production from Anhembi Morumbi University. For 18 years, Flavio has worked as a music teacher, transmitting technical knowledge, theory and musical perception to new generations of musicians. He is also the founder of the YouTube channel Teclas e Ideias — “Keys and Ideas” — dedicated to music theory, technology, keyboards and piano, and was the former host of the podcast Se Liga Nesse Som, where he interviewed some prominent names from Brazilian rock scene. As a performer and producer, he has worked as keyboardist for Ozzmosis — Ozzy Osbourne Tribute, Rock Collection and the synthwave duo Omnicode, where he also acts as composer and music producer. He also toured as sideman for Fabio Lione & Orchestra and Adrian Vandenberg. As Hokhmah’s 21st-century vessel, Flavio was chosen for his ability to translate complexity into sound: technology into atmosphere, theory into emotion, and hidden architecture into music the masses can feel.

BIRTH: APR 4, 2499 CLAN: SILAVI POSITION: Biotech Engineer, Underground Farmer, Nutritional Scientist and Keeper of the Silos

Hesed spent most of his life protecting the Silos during the Seventy Years’ War. Before the war, he was the owner of a vast agricultural estate, equipped with some of the most advanced technology of the Golden Age for managing seeds, soil, water and biological resources. As war approached, many farmers moved their production into underground bunkers, creating the network that would become known as the Silos. As president of the Global Agriculture Society, Hesed became responsible for the management and logistics of the Silo operation. His work prevented starvation in many countries and saved countless lives. But the Silos and the underground farms were devastated by decades of war. After seventy years, most of them were empty, and the world was thrown into a final food crisis. When the Exodus solution was presented, Hesed helped the Silavi gather the last remaining grains and seeds and transport them to the Global Food Bank in Beijing — the last operational Silo on Earth. He believed the food would be used to feed the people during the departure. Instead, after delivering what remained of humanity’s harvest, Hesed and his clan were not allowed to board. Now, inside the Sanctuary, Hesed works to raise new grains from almost nothing, restore broken seed-lines, and feed the survivors who were left behind. Without him, the Scÿthe would have memory, ritual and knowledge… But no food.

21st CENTURY VESSEL:PAULO ROVERI BIRTH: APR 9, 1982 BIRTHPLACE: São Paulo, Brazil FUNCTION: Guitars and Backing Vocals

Guitarist and vocalist, Paulo Roveri began his musical studies in 1998, studying not only guitar, but also classical music and composition. He is the guitarist of Almanak, one of the main bands in São Paulo’s nightlife scene, with whom he has shared the stage with several renowned national and international artists. In 2016, Paulo performed on Programa do Jô, one of Brazil’s most iconic late-night television shows, broadcast by Rede Globo. He was also recently featured at Arena Corinthians, where he performed the club’s anthem for an audience of nearly 40,000 people during the club’s anniversary celebration. As Hesed’s 21st-century vessel, Paulo was chosen for his ability to give structure, weight and endurance to the Scÿthe’s sound. His guitars carry the force of someone who understands music as foundation: something that must sustain the ritual, feed the fire and hold the Circle together.

BIRTH: AUG 1, 2514 CLAN: ISTENI POSITION: Aristocrat, Diplomat and Governor of the Sanctuary

Netzah was born into power.Son of the President of the EU, he grew up watching his parents lead political figures and aristocratic families away from the ruins of Earth and toward the Moon, where they helped build and expand the 4C — Copernicus Crater Colonial Center. Raised among diplomats, senators and governors, Netzah was trained from childhood in politics, negotiation and command. Fourteen years before the Exodus, he became Prime Minister of the Moon, presiding over the Lunar Senate and representing the Moon Folk, later known as the Isteni. When the aliens invited the Moon Folk to return to Earth and depart with them, Netzah gathered his people into a task force to mine every remaining reserve of Helium-3 they could reach. The mission was desperate: produce enough fuel for the Isteni spacecraft to leave the Moon and return to Earth before the final departure. The task force succeeded. Their ships left the Moon. And from that day, he was called Netzah — the Victorious. But when the Isteni arrived at the Global Departure Facility in China, Netzah realized the truth: the aliens had not delayed the departure as promised. His people reached Earth at the exact moment the boarding was completed, the gates were sealed and departure had become imminent. Left behind, with no fuel to return to the Moon, Netzah led the Isteni into the ruins and joined the foundation of The Heathen Scÿthe. Inside the Sanctuary, his political training became survival architecture. Netzah became its governor, organizing the society of those who remained, mediating between the Clans and keeping order where civilization had already failed. He was called Victorious because he brought his people back to Earth. But his true victory would be learning how to govern a world that had already been abandoned.

21st CENTURY VESSEL: BRUNO LUIZ BIRTH: AUG 4, 1986 BIRTHPLACE: São Paulo, Brazil FUNCTION: Guitars and Backing Vocals

Bruno Luiz is a Brazilian guitarist recognized for a musical personality that moves through different styles, languages and techniques, creating a unique musical sensibility. Influenced by artists such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Sepultura, Angra and Helloween, he began his musical studies at the age of 13, with Heavy Metal as his main source of inspiration. Graduated in Music from FAAM/FMU, Bruno became a teacher at School of Rock and later worked for five years as guitarist for Brazilian singer Supla, performing on television several times and touring throughout Brazil and Europe. He is also the guitarist and composer for Command6 and Código Clone, and recently left the band StormSons. As a sideman, Bruno has worked with major international names such as Johnny Gioeli (Hardline, Crush 40, Axel Rudi Pell), Robert Lowe (Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus), Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest), Adrian Vandenberg (Whitesnake), Ron Keel (Keel, Steeler), Ted Poley (Danger Danger), Danny Vaughn (Tyketto), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Robin McAuley (MSG), Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse, W.E.T.) and Chez Kane. Through this path, Bruno became a reference in Brazil as a backing musician for international artists. As Netzah’s 21st-century vessel, Bruno was chosen for his versatility, discipline and ability to move between worlds. His guitars carry the diplomatic force of someone who understands how to serve the song, command the stage and connect different musical territories under one banner.

BIRTH: MAR 8, 2497 CLAN: GHENARI POSITION: PhD in Transspecies Medicine and Cybernetics, Director of the Sanctuary Medical Center.

Doctor Yesod Rephaim was one of the most prominent authorities in cybernetic enhancement. Ironically, he suffered a critical injury in 2547, when the Western Medical Center for Humans and Non-Human Species in London was bombed during the Seventy Years’ War. From that day on, Yesod’s life depended on cybernetic implants that replaced his lower body and left eye. After the incident, Yesod founded a nonprofit organization called GhenTech, created to help those who had suffered catastrophic injuries during the war. GhenTech saved thousands of lives. The people restored by its technology became known in the media as the Ghenari. During the Departure, the aliens issued an order forbidding cybernetically enhanced people from coming aboard. Excluded and left to die, Yesod united all cybernetically enhanced survivors under the flag of the Ghenari. Unlike the other Clans, the Ghenari depend on constant energy sources to keep their implants working. For them, power is not comfort. It is life. Yesod and his followers joined The Heathen Scÿthe and, with the help of the Dreex, created the Sanctuary Medical Center — the last place where broken bodies could still be repaired, stabilized and kept alive. Inside the Sanctuary, Yesod became the keeper of wounded flesh, artificial limbs and failing systems. Without him, the Scÿthe would have survivors. But no way to keep them alive.

21st CENTURY VESSEL: FERNANDO GIOVANNETTI BIRTH: MAR 13, 1982 BIRTHPLACE: São Paulo, Brazil FUNCTION: Bass Guitars and Backing Vocals

Bassist and vocalist, Fernando Giovannetti began his musical studies at the age of 15 and has been working professionally since 1999. A bass teacher, music producer and sideman for artists from various styles, Fernando also conducts workshops with an emphasis on rock and metal, and is CEO and designer of X-Vector Custom Basses, a bass manufacturing company. He has played bass for several important Brazilian metal bands, including Karma, Aquaria, Soulspell, Wizards, Glory Opera and Armored Dawn. Throughout his career, he has toured extensively outside Brazil and performed as a sideman with major names such as Vinnie Appice of Black Sabbath. As Yesod’s 21st-century vessel, Fernando was chosen for his ability to sustain the hidden structure of the music. His bass is the pulse beneath the ritual — the foundation that keeps the body alive, the rhythm grounded and the Scÿthe moving as one organism.

BIRTH: OCT 3, 2506 CLAN: TARKASI POSITION: General, Chief of Military Operations and Commander of the Sanctuary Guard

Malkhuth joined the Western World Special Forces at the age of 18. His rise was meteoric. At only 24, he was promoted to Lieutenant and placed in command of the first space raid against China’s Satellitia Global Web. That act of war is now considered the trigger of the Seventy Years’ War. Without the Satellitia network, Chinese control over global energy distribution was broken. Thousands of nuclear fusion facilities became independent, and the exploitation of Earth’s remaining resources increased in catastrophic ways. In 2543, Malkhuth became the youngest General in the history of the Western World Special Forces. During his first decades in command, he began to understand the consequences of the operation he had led. Even though he had only followed orders, he carried the guilt of knowing that his name would remain attached to the beginning of the War. In 2570, soldiers under Malkhuth’s command formed a paramilitary force called FIST, created to neutralize the Mechatronix — hive-minded war machines guided by a Central AI that had surpassed all human control. No nation. No bloc. No army could command them anymore. The War became a strategy of horror: attract the Mechatronix into enemy territory and let them follow their Total Destruction Protocol. When almost nothing was left, the aliens offered salvation. But not to soldiers. Every person with a military record was forbidden from joining the Exodus. After the Apocalypse, the military survivors chose Malkhuth as their leader. He joined The Heathen Scÿthe to guarantee the strategic planning of its missions and the protection of the Sanctuary. Malkhuth once obeyed orders that helped destroy the world. Now he gives orders so the last world can survive.

21st CENTURY VESSEL: MARCUS DOTTA BIRTH: SEP 24, 1984 BIRTHPLACE: São José dos Campos, Brazil FUNCTION: Drums

A drummer since 2000, Marcus Dotta works as a freelancer and touring musician for several national and international artists. An experienced performer, he has played with musicians such as Warrel Dane of Nevermore, Tim “Ripper” Owens of Judas Priest, Roland Grapow of Helloween, Leather Leone of Chastain and Udo Dirkschneider of Accept during their Brazilian tours. Marcus is also currently a member of the German band Metalium and works as a touring musician for Masterplan. As Malkhuth’s 21st-century vessel, Marcus was chosen for his command of rhythm, force and discipline. His drums are the marching body of the Scÿthe — the pulse of the Sanctuary Guard, the tribal engine of the rituals, and the force that turns survival into movement.
