PART 1: THE GOLDEN AGE AND THE FALL

Year 2332:
The Arrival

An alien race arrives on Earth and begins a subtle infiltration, positioning themselves as helpful advisors to world governments. Media, religious leaders, political authorities and emerging cults give them many different names. The most popular becomes: Devas.

25th Century:
The Golden Age

The Devas introduce hyper-advanced science and a unifying religion — two faces of the same system. Under their guidance, human progress accelerates at an absurd rate. What should have taken ten thousand years happens in a single century. Humanity begins to dream of the stars. And slowly, it forgets the Earth beneath its feet.

Year 2530:
The Collapse

The advanced Deva-Human society begins to self-destruct under the weight of its own hunger. Resource depletion, political fractures and technological dependency ignite the Seventy Years’ War — a worldwide conflict that devastates ecosystems, breaks nations and kills half of the global population. The Golden Age ends. The dying Earth remains.

Year 2600:
The Exodus

The Devas offer one final salvation: to transport most of the surviving population off-world to a colony named Eden, aboard interstellar ships called Arks. 93,666 people remain on Earth, concentrated in China. Some chose to stay. And some were forbidden to leave.

PART 2: FOUNDATION OF THE SCŸTHE

Year 2601:
The Foundation of The Heathen Scÿthe

The Seven remaining Clans gather in the ruins of China to find a way for humanity to survive on post-apocalyptic Earth. They form a sect of scholars, survivors and ritualists dedicated to studying the sacred cycles of a dying world - It is named The Heathen Scÿthe. The Scÿthe occupies a heavily protected complex inside the Forbidden City. Among the survivors, this last refuge becomes known as the Sanctuary.

Year 2610:
The Schism

The Dreex Clan leaves the Scÿthe, guided by their classified representative. They refuse to remain hidden inside the Sanctuary while the world outside continues to decay. A few Dreex remain within the Scÿthe as faithful Acolytes. The sect survives the Schism. But much of its technological power is gone.

Year 2611:
The Library Discovery

Inside the ruins of the Forbidden City, the Scÿthe discovers what remains of an ancient library. Buried beneath the wreckage of the Ancient World, they recover forbidden books, esoteric texts and ritual manuals — including Francis Barrett’s The Magus. For five years, the High Council studies the books recovered from the library and performs the rituals described within them. The teachings help the Scÿthe survive, read the natural cycles beneath toxic skies, and recover forgotten ways of listening to Earth. Supposed superstitions become method. The occult becomes survival science.

PART 3: THE MISSION LAUNCH

Year 2616:
The Revelation, the Sacrifice and the Seraphic Possession

Following the instructions preserved in The Magus, the High Council contacts a Celestial Intelligencer. The entity reveals the location of the Merkabah — an ancient-world relic known in old scriptures as the Ark of the Covenant, and described in Scÿthe records as a device capable of casting consciousness through time. To activate the Ark, Da’at offers his own heart in an ultimate act of self-sacrifice. He dies. And immediately returns. An angelic intelligence identified as Metatron takes possession of his body. His eyes are blinded by the unbearable light, and through him the Architecture of the Universe is unveiled to the High Council. From that moment on, Da’at begins to guide the Scÿthe’s time-travel missions.

Years 2616-2617:
The Scholar Missions

Objective: Information Gathering and Origin Seeding. At first, the missions were not designed to alter history. The High Council projected their consciousness into the deep past to learn from the original masters: those who still knew how to read nature as sacred law, those who worshiped Earth before humanity turned its eyes completely toward the stars. During these journeys, the Council studied cultures bound to natural cycles, divine landscapes, ancestors, elements and ritual memory. They recovered fragments of magical systems, healing practices, alchemy, sacred language and ancient knowledge that could teach humanity to place Earth above the Cosmos before the Apocalypse became inevitable. The Scÿthe was not yet trying to change the future. It was learning what humanity had forgotten.

PART 4: THE 21st CENTURY MISSION

Year 2018:
The Turning Point

After the Scholar Missions, the High Council understood that Earth’s destiny could still be changed by seeding the past. They searched for the best moment in history to plant the Old Ways back into human memory — a time when ideas could travel instantly, but people still gathered in crowds, festivals and stadiums. The 21st century was the Turning Point they needed. The Internet could spread the signs instantly across the world. The global culture of Heavy Metal could give them body, fire and voice. Through the TPS — Temporal Positioning System — the Council found compatible incarnations in São Paulo, Brazil: experienced musicians whose bodies, voices and instruments could sustain the mission. The perfect vessels, in the perfect time: The possession began. The knowledge recovered through forgotten ages became songs: warnings disguised as anthems, ancestral memories shaped into riffs, and ritual fragments loud enough to awaken those who would listen. From that moment on, The Heathen Scÿthe stopped being only a sect hidden in the ruins of the future. It became a loud Heavy Metal voice, born in the future to transform the present.
